They are the ones that are different, they always stand out. They are black sheep of society and families, the ones who never fit in….. ever….. anywhere. Those weird blokes, those f.cked-up ones, the outsiders, the round ones that will push themselves through a square hole, the ones who no matter where they go and what they start, they will always stand out.
They are the gifted and talented ones, the ones with capacities but these are mostly misunderstood and misinterpreted by the world so they are most often get the judgements that something is out of sorts about them, that they are not normal or even disabled, retarded or made wrong for their difference, at the minimum. They are often labelled and diagnosed with different things like OCD, autism, ADD, ADHD, etc., ….. and in other cases they fly under the radar and have no such diagnoses at all.

X-MEN in fact have capacities and potentials that this reality is unable to see and recognize yet, let alone to acknowledge and praise. They embody something and work in a way that no one has seen before and that never existed before! Is this the time to go beyond the programming of this reality and everything that you have always been told and taught about how you should be and work and finally start showing up as the brilliant, amazing wonder and miracle that you truly are?
You often differ, and have a unique way of perceiving, communicating, learning, connecting and creating with others and the world. Most often you have learnt to ignore that or what is worse, to make it wrong, hide it and diminish it because you were normally judged for it and rejected. And other times you think it’s just something totally normal and average and take it for granted that everybody knows what you know and everybody works the way you work.

Son los diferentes, los que siempre destacan. Son las ovejas negras de la sociedad y de sus familias, los que nunca terminan de encajar… jamás… en ningún sitio. Esos raros, esos incomprendidos, los marginados, los que son redondos y aun así intentan pasar por un agujero cuadrado; aquellos que, vayan donde vayan y hagan lo que hagan, siempre sobresalen.
Son personas con dones y talentos, con capacidades especiales, pero que a menudo son malinterpretadas por el mundo. Por eso, muchas veces se les juzga como si hubiera algo extraño en ellas, como si no fueran normales o incluso como si tuvieran algún tipo de discapacidad, retraso o defecto simplemente por ser diferentes.
A menudo reciben etiquetas y diagnósticos como TOC, autismo, TDA, TDAH, etc. … y, en otros casos, pasan desapercibidos y no tienen ningún diagnóstico en absoluto.
¿Te resulta todo esto demasiado familiar? ¿Alguna vez has sentido que no encajas en ningún sitio, por mucho que lo hayas intentado? Quizá hayas pasado toda tu vida intentándolo.

Los X-MEN, en realidad, tienen capacidades y potenciales que esta realidad todavía no es capaz de ver ni reconocer, y mucho menos valorar o celebrar. Encarnan algo y funcionan de una manera que nadie había visto antes y que nunca había existido hasta ahora.
